My life is simply that. A weaving. We live in small town USA and I'm living a life I love…

It’s War…

A battle has been raging inside of me and at the root of it is “What do I want to be when I grow up?” vs. “What does God want me to be right now?”

I’ve been measuring and weighing and processing for a few weeks now and have come to some conclusions… not not final ones…

However, another enemy has crept into the camp to play a part… fear.

Yesterday we got dreadful news… a dear friend had passed away and it’s not a nice ordeal… but her death has caused fear to grip me from head to toe and I know it’s not right… it may be normal or natural but it’s how I’m supposed to be living…

This resurrection life you received from God is not a timid, grave-tending life. It’s adventurously expectant, greeting God with a childlike “What’s next, Papa?” God’s Spirit touches our spirits and confirms who we really are. We know who he is, and we know who we are: Father and children. And we know we are going to get what’s coming to us—an unbelievable inheritance! We go through exactly what Christ goes through. If we go through the hard times with him, then we’re certainly going to go through the good times with him!

At that, I’m signing off for the moment. If you could spare a moment for the Williams family, please lift them up in prayer. Theirs is the roughest road I’ve ever seen laid out before a family…
